Party Planner Terms and Conditions

Your wedding or event, whatever the size or budget, will be carefully planned, well organised and arranged with meticulous attention to detail.

The charges for each wedding or event are fully negotiable and will depend on the suppliers provided and the size/detail of the event. This will be discussed at the initial consultation.

Just Occasions will start work on your wedding or event once a signed approval and initial payment has been received. Regular reporting will take place throughout the planning stage and in line with the volume of information to be relayed.

Your co-ordination fee, and the payment schedule for this fee, will be detailed in your proposal following your initial consultation. Your supplier’s costs will be detailed in a separate payment schedule.  It may be necessary for supplier deposits to be sent with your initial payment.

Just Occasions will work to the agreed plan. However, in the event of an increase in the clients requirements, the Just Occasions fees will be recalculated and charges be made to bring the payment plan back into line with the required timescales as detailed below. Any increases will be documented and require signed approval by the client.

Just Occasions make a reasonable and educated estimate of the time involved in arranging any event and this is the basis of the proposal and fee.  However, in the unlikely and extreme event that client’s actions create unexpected and unacceptable amounts of additional work, the Just Occasions fee may need to be reviewed. In this event, clients would be advised of the situation to enable a solution to be found. If the situation still continued after this communication, Just Occasions reserve the right to add an additional fee and to halt work. In this case the Just Occasions’ fees will be recalculated and charges be made to bring the payment plan back into line with the required timescales as detailed below. Any increases will be documented and require signed approval by the client.

Just Occasions aims to deal with reputable suppliers who are known to be, or have proved themselves to be, of good character. All suppliers are chosen for their quality of service, cost effectiveness and reliability. However Just Occasions cannot be held responsible for the actions of any supplier and on this basis would encourage couples/clients to satisfy themselves as to the integrity of all suppliers.

Payments

Just Occasions fee:
50% on signed approval
30% 5 months before the event
20% (balance) 2 weeks before the event

Supplier fees:

Just Occasions will endeavour to detail payment timescales required by suppliers in the initial payment plan. Payments may be made by the client directly to the supplier or via Just Occasions.

All deposits are non refundable.
